IPL 2025: West Indies explosive all -rounder Romario Shepherd is once again in the news in the mega auction for IPL 2025. This time Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has included him in his team for Rs 1.5 crore. The Shepherd remains a very popular player in the T20 format due to his aggressive batting and fast-medium speed bowling.

The journey was full of ups and downs in IPL

Romario made a brilliant debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, when he was purchased for Rs 7.75 crore. But due to not being able to perform well continuously, his price fell to Rs 50 lakh in 2023, when Lucknow Supergiants bought him.

In IPL 2024, he reached Mumbai Indians via trade, but he did not get much opportunities there either. However, he remained in the eyes of franchisees due to his finishing ability and utility from the ball.
